Difference between Hajj and Umrah:

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrates that Nabi (SAW) said: The Jihad of the elders, weak and the lady is performing Hajj and Umrah. (Nasaai)
Umar bin Abasa (RA) says that Nabi (SAW) said: Two actions are considered the best of actions, if someone does them in the same way. They are an accepted Hajj and an accepted Umrah.

Ibne Abbas (RA) reports that Nabi (SAW said: the Umrah performed in the month of Ramadhaan will equal (in rewards) the one of Hajj or Hajj performed with me (SAW). (Bukhari, Muslim)
